Helicopter site in the dunes

Bassie and Adriaan have escaped the Crying Professor and flee through the mountains to a dune area where a helicopter is waiting for them. The scene with the helicopter was shot in the 'Dunas de Maspalomas', the southernmost point of the island. You can see the lighthouse in the background.
