Bassie and Adriaan 'land' in the series Weeping Professor at this airport on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria. A skydiving center is now housed here. It is near Bahia Feliz. In real life, of course, they landed with a normal plane at the normal airport at the capital Las Palmas.
