Description
Resident Alien is an American science fiction comedy series, based on the Dark Horse Comics comic book series of the same name, created by writer Peter Hogan and artist Steve Parkhouse. An alien travels to Earth with the mission to plant an explosive device that will wipe out all of humanity in one fell swoop. Just before landing, his spaceship is struck by lightning, causing him to lose the bomb near a glacier in a snowy Colorado town. To continue his mission, he assumes the identity of Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle and moves into his vacation home. In this way, he hopes to quietly retrieve his lost device. The series is set in the virtual village of "Patience". The exterior shots were shot in Ladysmith, Vancouver, and Britannia Beach. The interior shots were shot at the Sim Derwent studios in Delta, British Columbia.
