'Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story' is a Netflix series from 2024. The series is based on a true story of a gruesome murder within the Menendez family. The brothers keep a big secret and it turns out that the murder was not committed by the mafia and not for money. A great taboo was exposed that society in the 90s was not yet ready for.
The filming took place from March to July 2021 in Los Angeles.
In October 2024, a 2-hour documentary was also released on Netflix in which the real brothers tell their story.
