Country house Heydecoper

The Santa Barbara plantation house served as the backdrop. This house was built in 1662 and is one of the largest colonial houses in Curaçao. The plantation covers an area of almost 1,200 hectares. Various crops were grown and the livestock was fairly large.
The colonial house Santa Barbara is located on a high point, the view over the Spanish Water is magnificent. The house consists of a rectangle formed by two wings. It has two floors with galleries above and below supported by square pillars.
