De Ponti (Cops Maastricht)

In the popular Dutch TV series "Flikken Maastricht" "De Ponti," the headquarters of Wolfs and Van Dongen, plays a central role. Although the exterior shots of "De Ponti" take place in Sint Bernardusstraat in Maastricht, the inside of the police station was filmed at a different location: Rolduc Abbey in Kerkrade, Limburg.

The choice to shoot the outdoor shots in Maastricht adds to the authenticity of the series, as it is set in the picturesque city of Maastricht itself. The use of Sint Bernardusstraat as a background gives the scenes a recognizable and lively appearance, and contributes to the overall atmosphere of the series.
