Mardik suspects involvement of his old childhood friend Faysal and investigates with his colleague Shannon. During the investigation, a house in an apartment building explodes.

The recordings took place in January 2022 in the former nursing home "De Klinkenberg" in Ede. This building from 1970 has been empty since 2012 and will be demolished in the summer of 2022. New rental and owner-occupied apartments will be built on the site.
