Royal Mint of Spain

In the first season of the series La Casa De Papel, or Money Heist, the group, led by the professor in the Royal Mint of Spain, infiltrate. Here they want to start printing their own money.

The recordings took place in a studio but the outer facade of the building can be found in Madrid. The building originally serves as the headquarters of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

The building cannot be visited, the location is closed, which also made shooting for this building easier.
