Attack on Australian tourists

Four Australians, working in England and on holiday in the Netherlands, were (wrongly) mistaken for British soldiers in Roermond. Two of the Australians were killed in the attack. The IRA claimed the attack but admitted it made a mistake regarding the nationality of the Australian victims.

The recordings of The Spectacular took place on the Markt in Roermond, where the real attack also took place on May 27, 1990.
