The crooks look for Luck or Wise from their hiding place.

In this scene the crooks hide in a hiding place because of the previous burglary where they were caught by 2 children and eventually B&A. They are watching the program Geluk or Wijs dan op Reis. To their surprise, a very special candidate is participating: Clown Bassie. Bassie is asked here: what is a Prestidigitateur? de Baron has no idea, but B100 suspects that Bassie knows the answer.

It was always thought that the recordings took place in the old Pelmolen on the Buitenhaven in Vlaardingen, but that turned out to be only the outside are. the indoor location appears to be the workshop of Autogarage Offenberg Auto's located at Van Beethovensingel 138 in Vlaardingen.

Today (July 8, 2024) I visited this garage and was immediately welcomed very friendly by Bart and his colleagues. What turned out is that Bassie & Adriaan did not go unnoticed by them either, and the series and location videos were quickly looked up on the PC. The owner said that Bas regularly came for a cup of coffee and a chat, which sometimes turned out later than intended.

My request to take some photos was not considered, which was of course no problem! a car was quickly driven away and the mechanics in the workshop stepped aside for a moment. the location had not changed and it was as if time had stood still. In one word, beautiful for the B&A Fans!

After taking the photos, I continued my journey and some non-Dutch employees of this garage were treated to a genuine piece of Vlaardingen TV history.
