The road between the salt lakes and El Golfo

In the series of The Secret of the Treasure Map you see Bassie and Adriaan driving around a lot on the island of Lanzarote. Many of these shots were taken on the road between the salt lakes and El Golfo (the green lake). This road runs through the dark lava field, mostly along the coast. It is a beautiful road to drive, make sure to stop at Los Hervideros or one of the other lookout points. The end of the road in the series is shot at the southern parking lot at El Golfo. When Bassie and Adriaan turn the car and drive back, the car with crooks is parked along this road.
