Notre Dame is a large cathedral from the year 1163. Construction started in that year and was not completed until 200 years later.
A fire broke out in April 2019 when the roof caught fire during a restoration and burned for 15 hours. Church services and tourist visits are not expected to resume until the end of 2024.
