For the intro to episode 3 (A Song of Longing) of the series *De Lachende Scheerkwast*, aerial shots were filmed in Den Helder. After a long search, I found the location of the aerial shot. We see aerial shots of the Kerkgracht and the Kanaalweg, the old town hall of Den Helder, the monument to the Rescue Service, the Prince Hendrik Memorial Stone, and a little further on—also visible in the intro—a small church can be seen, which is the St. Peter and St. Paul Church at Kerkgracht 54 in Den Helder.
